Serve a batch of this green pepper for lunch and use the leftovers for this ultra-healthy cooking bowl. This recipe is easy to adapt to your slow cooker or instant pot.

This recipe starts with a simple recipe for a chicken-green chili stew.
You can also do it with pork. You can find my green chili pork recipe here.
The recipe of the green peppercock is slightly less thickening but still surprisingly tasty.
It is the perfect complement to our range of food preparation troughs.
Step 1: Make a Green Chicken Recipe
For this dish we use chili verde with chicken.
Once you’ve made a batch of protein, you can use it to cook all week long.
All my bowls are designed to give you a specific amount of protein in each delicious bowl to meet your needs.
Step 2: All others
I make two extra recipes for these cooking bowls that add flavour and texture.
I still make my simple guacamole recipe.
And I usually make a spicy Mexican salad.

Step 3: Build your shell
Each of our kitchen bowls is built on a bed of delicious green and colourful vegetables.
The key is to put two to four handfuls of vegetables in each bowl.
It doesn’t matter what you choose. In our recipes we make suggestions about what we think is the best scale base, but feel free to use what you have.
Above all, use what you want.
The concept of creating a cooking bowl is simple.
Note: It consists of several main elements:
- The Greens/Vegetics (what we sometimes call fixins).
- Healthy carbohydrates
- Extra (salad, salsa or vinaigrette).
Step 1 – Start with green
Here we have spinach and red lettuce.
Even if it’s not a lot of calories, these micronutrients do count! Choose some of your favourite greens and add a few large hand papers.
You can also use spiral pumpkin noodles in a bowl.
Add a few handfuls of healthy green.
Step 2 – Add healthy carbohydrates
Healthy carbohydrates can be quinoa, rice or potatoes.
White rice is an easily digestible carbohydrate and fits perfectly with this recipe of green chillies with chicken.
If you work like us, you certainly need carbohydrates in your life. Make sure you provide your muscles with the right amount of carbohydrates. Everyone has different needs.
Nutritionists say that 120 grams of carbohydrates a day is a guideline for keeping your hormones balanced and your metabolism functioning properly.
Feel free to adjust your carbohydrate intake. Or don’t ignore it at all. Each hob is fully adaptable.
Add some carbohydrates if you need them.
Step 3 – Add protein
A typical portion contains four to eight ounces of protein.
You can also add more colourful vegetables if you wish. We added grated cabbage. When I have it in the fridge, I like to add it to my Mexican salad.

Step 4 – Adding some items
Most of our kitchen bowls have a supplement and a sauce or vinaigrette. Here we have guacamole. And, of course, the chilli sauce for hatching chicken.
Add extra : Here we use guacamole and a little more green chili sauce.
#5 – Add fresh herbs if you have.
Cilantro and green onions go well with this recipe. I also like to garnish this dish with freshly sliced radishes.
Flavours provide a lot of flavour, but not many calories. Kinta and Green Onion are two of my favorites.
The result is an impressive bowl of macro-sympathetic delicacies!

Green beast Chile Cut
So many flavors! Rich, spicy green chilli sauce. Can be prepared with chicken or pork.

- Put the oil, garlic, onion and hot peppers in a thick-bottomed pot. Bake them until they are tender and tasty.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Make sure there is enough liquid to cover the meat.
- Bring to the boil and let it simmer.
- Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. Make sure that the liquid does not sink too low.
- If the chicken is tender, take it off the fire and let it cool down a little.
- Remove the chicken from the sauce and remove the bones.
- Chop the chicken and put it back in the pot.
Make it quick: 1) Use a 15 ounce can of green enchila sauce instead of tomatoes. 2) Use boneless chicken, diced and added to the sauce. Reduce the cooking time to 20 minutes.
I think chicken on the bone has more taste, but you can leave it and use it without bone.
