Strawberry milkshake
Strawberry milkshake is my son’s favorite drink, and when strawberries are in season, I do have to make some for him as a snack or dessert after school. Smoothies and milkshakes are a great way to incorporate seasonal fruits into our diet because they provide the body with the nutrients it needs. Strawberries are rich in vitamins A and K, antioxidants and provide fiber and folate. It’s good to include fresh seasonal fruit in your diet, and I like to enjoy a fruit shake once in a while.
Strawberry Milkshake Recipe
A milkshake is not really a milkshake if there is no ice in it. And we’re not going to talk about the calories in a strawberry shake. The key to today’s strawberry milkshake is good quality strawberry ice cream.
Preparing a strawberry shake recipe by putting the strawberries and boiled milk in the refrigerator will create a smooth and creamy shake. Freezing strawberries or strawberry puree works wonders for a thick, fresh texture. Absolutely delicious with a beautiful rose tinted milkshake bursting with strawberry flavor.
